We recently stayed at Chambres during a family trip, and I must say, it was a solid choice for anyone traveling with kids. The room was clean and spacious, perfect for our family of four. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially when the little ones needed to cool down after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the breakfast – a variety of freshly prepared meals that even our picky eaters enjoyed. It was nice to have local wines and beers available too, perfect for a relaxing evening while the children were busy in the garden. Speaking of the garden, we loved the little walk there where the kids could spot animals. It was a lovely way to unwind after a long day of travel. We also took advantage of the bike hire facility, which allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings at our own pace. What truly stood out was the helpful and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a family-friendly destination in York, I’d recommend Chambres for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
